My path toward becoming a counselor began with my own story — growing up in the suburbs of Atlanta, navigating questions around identity, and learning to embrace my truth as a lesbian in a world that didn’t always make that easy. Working through early family dynamics and personal trauma taught me the power of safe spaces and compassionate presence. I often think of compassion as a summer storm back home — gentle yet powerful, capable of clearing the air and bringing new growth after long stretches of heaviness. That’s the kind of energy I strive to bring into my work with clients.

Today, as a high school counselor, I have the privilege of walking alongside young adults as they navigate identity, anxiety, depression, and the many systems that shape their world. I am continuously reminded of the power of listening, empathy, and genuine connection. This realization has inspired me to work more closely with individuals and couples in a therapeutic setting, helping them navigate change, rediscover confidence, and move toward balance and self-compassion.

Outside the office, you can usually find me hiking, reading, giggling with friends or listening to a podcast with a coffee nearby. I’m a loyal Atlanta Braves fan (although sometimes it is very hard), a lover of music and quiet mornings. Those quiet, everyday moments keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of slowing down and savoring life.

  • My approach to counseling is grounded, compassionate, and deeply relational. I believe meaningful change begins when you feel truly seen, supported, and safe to show up as your authentic self. I strive to create a space that feels both genuine and comforting—where you can slow down, make sense of your experiences, and begin releasing what no longer serves you. Together, we’ll explore patterns, cultivate self-compassion, and discover practical ways to bring more balance, peace, and clarity into your life.
