My journey to become a counselor started when I realized how deep my capacity to keep hope alive ran after experiencing complicated death loss. I had come to understand how attachment style, self-esteem, and learned core beliefs could impact our ability to accept the unknown. All of which informs how I support clients when dealing with change & barriers we cannot control - racial trauma, grief&loss, and identity exploration.
I credit my ability to develop emotional resilience to being the American-Born daughter of Vietnamese immigrants that survived war. My family’s history is rooted in unraveling the twine that bind us all together on a systemic, cultural, and personal level. This combined with my experience as a school counselor - to brilliant students from diverse backgrounds - has helped me understand that radical healing and change happens in community with others. I believe our relationships deepen as we discover more parts of ourselves, and I am honored to help every person unravel their twine.
With this all in mind, when I am clocked out for the day, I can be found having impassioned discussions with my book club, rolling the dice with my friends in Dungeon and Dragons, or outside on an adventure always connected with my community.

My approach to counseling is grounded, compassionate, and deeply relational. I believe meaningful change begins when you feel truly seen, supported, and safe to show up as your authentic self. I strive to create a space that feels both genuine and comforting—where you can slow down, make sense of your experiences, and begin releasing what no longer serves you. Together, we’ll explore patterns, cultivate self-compassion, and discover practical ways to bring more balance, peace, and clarity into your life.
